You will be working as a part of the design team within various projects in Japan and abroad. The position is a full-time, for the period of 2 years renewable. A 3 months trial period will be required before being accepted as a full-time employee. Only successful candidates will be contacted by email. Job responsibilities:

  • Technical coordination of project
  • Document coordination, design detailing
  • Maintain the Project Manual
  • Close collaboration with design team, clients, consultants, contractors and vendors
  • Reviews project for conformance to contract.
  • Tracks financial performance of project.

Requirements:

  • Bi-lingual (English and Japanese)
  • 1st Class Architect license in Japan
  • 7+ years experience as Architect or Project Manager
  • Strong design talent, proactive, smart worker, punctual, organized
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CS and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills in a collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of building codes and structures.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience project managing in the Tokyo market
  • Parametric design and 3d rendering experience
  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin)
  • New business development skills
  • Very detail oriented
  • LEED accreditation
